“You will not attain righteousness, unless you give of that which you love; and whatever thing you spend, Allah surely knows it.” (Qur’an 3:92)
In the holy month of Dhul Hijjah, your Qurban will feed them today and give them hope for a brighter tomorrow. Donating your Qurban means you’ll be sharing the joy of Eid al-Adha with those in need all over the world – in places like Burkina Faso, Togo, Ghana, Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen and Cambodia.
According to the UN’s World Food Programme, in 2021 there were 957 million people across 93 countries who did not have enough to eat. With your Qurban donation, you can support those battling extreme poverty and hunger by bringing them much-needed food relief. For many of them, Eid al-Adha is the only time in the entire year they get to eat meat, thanks to people like you.
When you donate your Qurban with GIM Foundation, not only will you be feeding those most in need but you’ll be helping vulnerable communities become self-sufficient by supporting local farmers and fuelling the local economy. What a great way to multiply your blessings!

What is Qurban?
Qurban means sacrifice. Every year during the Islamic month of Dhul Hijjah, Muslims around the world offer an animal (a goat, sheep, cow or camel) to commemorate the Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to make the ultimate sacrifice – his son – for the sake of Allah (SWT).
Giving Qurban is obligatory for every Muslim who has the financial means to do so. There are also Qurban rules that determine which animals can be sacrificed and how they should be treated and cared for before the sacrifice, as well as specific guidelines on how the sacrifice must be carried out. At GIM Foundation, we make sure your Qurban obligation is fulfilled in the best way possible by ensuring all animals are sacrificed according to these Islamic guidelines.
Dhul Hijjah and the best 10 days of the year
The month of Dhul Hijjah is the final month in the Islamic calendar with the first 10 days of the month considered the best 10 days of the year, loved by Allah (SWT):
“By dawn. and the ten nights” (Quran 89:1-2).
During this time, it is considered an obligation for Muslims to offer their Qurban as an act of worship and to help those in need.
“So turn in prayer towards your Lord and sacrifice.” (Qur’an 108:2)
This Dhul Hijjah, let’s follow the example of our beloved Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH) and sacrifice for the sake of Allah (SWT).
